This is a Fandom-Centric Journal!
What does that mean exactly? Well I intend this to be a place for me to play with whatever fandom I'm obsessed with at the moment and other fandom things that might crop up. All rants, babbles, squees and the like will be mostly garnered towards those things. Real life will creep in occasionally but I don't plan on using this to rant about my job or things along those lines. It's just not what I want to use this for.
My current fandom obsession involves Orlando Bloom, Sean Bean, Billy Boyd and the rest of the Lord of the Rings crew. That might change at any moment but I don't see that happening anytime soon.
Some...okay most...of the obsession centers around the Slashy side of the fandom so if the thought of two guys being together makes you ill please leave...and if you do stay...don't whine 'cause you were warned. These people are real but I honestly don't think this stuff is happening I wish everyone involved health and happiness in their lives.
Other interests that might wander in from time to time will be Tennis, X-Men, Adrien Brody, Zach Braff, Musicals, Shakespeare and other theater of the non-musical variety, figure skating could work it's way in there as could Pro-Wrestling. It's a mixed bag really as to what could show up here.
As with most of the fandoms I'm heavily involved with I read and write fanfic.
My OTP would have to be any form of Orlando/Sean. Secondary pairing would most likely be Orlando/Elijah. After that I'm pretty open I'll try anything once. I don't really do Viggo-fic that much but do try it occasionally. I'm definitly not really into the Het-side of things...which is good since there's not many choices in this fandom unless you go outside of the LOTR's family.
I also love to reads Pirates fanfic -- especailly love Will/Norrington and I'd read Troy fic if there was more of it to choose from.
What do I write -- I write mainly Orlibean with sides of other pairings.

I am the owner of The Orlibean Project a database dedicated to providing links to all the Orlibean fic out there (and some good general Sean and Orlando fic) all in one place. So far I have over 1,000 fic listed and 100 authors! More fun stuff to come including graphics, a gallery and quotes and whatever else I can think to add.

I am also the co-mod of perennialbloom an icontest devoted to all the wonderful characters that Orlando Bloom has protrayed throughout his career (and those to come) please stop by and join in the fun if you're a maker or just want to vote for your favorites.

Just a little bit about myself...not too much...I lead a pretty boring life

I hail from the glorious, exciting, glamours...pffft...sorry can't get through that with a straight face. I hail from the boring, cold, though pretty state of Wisconsin in the US. For those of you not in the know that's one of the "ones in the middle" and really that's about it.
Unless you like snow, or cheese, or beer, the out doors or the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin is a pretty boring place to live. I've have been trying to get out of this state for the last two years and so far I have failed. :-P
The only cool thing about Wisconsin is that Harley Davidson was born, bred and still mostly produced here.
And to get it out of the way. No...I do not own a cow. I have actually been asked that by someone. I'm like 'why yes, I do have a cow...I keep it in my garage.
My secondary home is the glorious city of Savannah, Georgia. Seriously folks if you like history or even if you don't go there...it's awesome! Just be careful you don't trip over a ghostie, 'cause there are lots.
Odds and Ends About Me:
I have: 2 cats a three year old pain in the butt little girl named Pippin. She thinks she's a dog...sleeps on the floor and plays fetch. She's too smart for her own good. Our newest family member is Wyn. She's not a year old yet and is thus a massive pain in the butt.
I love: reading,writing, movies, theater, animals, singing, travel, ghost tours
I hate: spiders, tornados, heights, flying
Biggest Fear: Being buried alive.
Life's Ambition: To visit every Hard Rock Cafe (Resturant, Hotel, Casino) in the world. With rules you have to go in and at the very least have to order a drink. Doesn't count if you just visit the store -- otherwise I'd have Atlanta too Current Total: 10 (Chicago, Minneapolis (Old&New),DC, St.Louis (My fave), Vegas, Indianapolis, San Fran, New Orleans (2 weeks before Katrina hit), Niagra Falls (NY), Niagra Falls (Canada). I have a long way to go *sighs* and if they ever take the Twisted Mac & Cheese off the menus I'm gonna hurt someone.
Scary But True (I swear): I believe in ghosts because I have had 2 encounters. 1 in a Savannah cemetary at 2am in the morning and the other in the bathroom of the local Chinese Buffet. I have also had a run in with a posessed cat while in New Orleans...or at the very least I was able to read the major Keep!Away vibes the cat was putting out. Either way...creepy!
Favorite Movies: Strictly Ballroom, Animal House (just two because otherwise it hurts to try to figure it out
Guilty Pleasure Movies: Deep Blue Sea, Volcano
Favorite TV Shows: Anything on Food Network, True Crime shows, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Scrubs (don't watch a lot of live TV)

I'm a lame duck when it comes to graphics (the little dividers with the words on them those were done by me...that's really the extent of my talent *snerks*) so the graphics on this page...and ones that might appear in my posts from time to time as well as almost all of my icons were made by other people. If I use something in a post I'll probably credit it right there but for the stuff on this page here's my list...
